Our new Website has been developed to provide information about the Practice, it's staff, and the range of healthcare services we provide. We aim to provide a high standard of care for our patients and hope that this website will give you all the information that you require about the services that we offer.

As of 1st July 2015, Gaer Medical Centre will be managed by Aneurin Bevan University Health Board.

About the Surgery

The Practice operates from a purpose built, single storey premises with a car park.

Facilities for the Disabled

The Practice premises affords the following facilities for the disabled:

  • an access ramp;
  • wide doors allowing wheelchair access through corridors to consulting and treatment rooms;
  • disabled toilet facilities.

A portable hearing loop is available on request. Our Practice Nurse is trained in British Sign Language.

Practice Area

The Practice serves the population of the Gaer. If you change address outside our practice area please do not assume we can continue to care for you.

    • Available – Monday to Thursday 9:00am to 12:15pm and 1:15pm to 4:00pm, Friday 9:00am to 12:15pm and 1:15pm to 3:00pm.
    • Patients contacting the Dental Helpline outside of these hours, will be given an alternative number to signpost the patient to the relevant service.
